01.
Drop me a message
Let me know what date you're looking at, and any other information that you have at this stage.
I'll pencil you in, and if you have any questions, we can chat over email or arrange a video call - whichever works for you!
02.
Sign contract + pay booking fee
Once you're happy, I'll send over a contract for both parties to sign.
Again, feel free to ask any questions before signing - I try to make the contracts as easy to understand as possible but you should be 100% comfortable.
Once the contract is signed and the booking fee paid, you're all confirmed!
03.
Two months out
Depending on how far out we are, I'll check in with you every so often to make sure everything is okay, and feel free to reach out at any point with questions.
About two months from the big day, I'll arrange a video call so we can talk through the plans you have so far. This will help me to start planning logistics, and you to start thinking about details like who you'd like in your group photos.
04.
Two weeks to go!
Two weeks out, we'll have our final details call. We'll go through my notes from the previous call, and make sure I have all of your updates, and chat through any final questions that you have. Afterwards, I'll send you an email so you can double-check I took everything down correctly.
The day before the big day, I'll text you just to double-triple check that we're going ahead!
05.
The big day
It's the big day! I generally text before I set off with an ETA, and you'll have my phone number in case of any emergencies.
06.
A sneak peek
Two or three days after the ceremony, I'll send over your sneak peeks - about 15-20 photos for you to share with friends and family while I work on the main album.
07.
The full edit
On or by the date in your contract, I'll send over your full edit via email. You can share this link with whoever you'd like - as long as they have the link and password, they'll be able to access and download (of course if you want a bit more privacy controls, we can adjust this!).
Just make sure to download your album - it's guaranteed to stay live for one year.
08.
Little extras
If you ordered anything additional like prints or an album, now is the moment to pick your favourite photos to showcase. We'll work together to create mementos for you to display for years to come.
If you didn't originally request an album or prints but decide later you want some - don't panic! Just drop me a line and we'll sort.
Can you reserve our date before we pay the booking fee?
I’m happy to hold a date for one week before a booking fee is paid, and in that time you will be given first refusal if another enquiry comes through for the same date. Once the booking fee is paid and contract signed, the date is reserved for you exclusively.
How do we make payments to you?
Payments can be made by bank transfer, with the details provided in your contract.

Are you LGBT Friendly?
Yes, absolutely. The way I work has been carefully considered to make sure I’m being as inclusive as possible - for example, my contract does not use the terms ‘bride and groom’ - but if you have any concerns or questions please just drop me a message and I’d be happy to chat through with you.
How long does coverage last?
My half-day package covers you for 5 hours of continuous shooting. You could use this as you see fit - I can cover bridal prep, the ceremony and some group photos and portraits afterwards, or you could cover some of the ceremony and reception - it’s up to you. Please note that additional hours after the five will be chargeable.
My full-day package covers you from bridal prep right up to the party. I normally stay until one hour after the first dance, but if you have different needs please just let me know.
What happens if you're sick?
It’s not happened yet, but in the unfortunate event that I’m too ill to work, you will be given a choice of alternative photographers from my network who can take on the wedding in my place. This will not incur further costs and your contract will remain with me so I can still oversee the delivery and editing.
My parents are divorced, how can I make sure group photos aren't awkward?
One thing I’ve learned doing this job is that noone’s family is straightforward! So if you have any concerns, feel free to discuss them with me in the lead up to the wedding. This allows me to think through how to get photos - particularly your beautiful group shots - in a discreet way that will keep everybody comfortable.
How do we receive our images?
You will receive a link to your personal online gallery. You can then share the link with family and friends, download the whole album or individual photos - whatever you’d like. Please bear in mind that I can host your photos for one year but after that the gallery may be archived, so please make sure to download everything you want before this happens!
Who owns the images?
The photographer (i.e. me) always retains copyright to the images. However, you can use the photos for as long as you want, for whatever reason as long as it’s not for commercial use (e.g. selling them). So, you’re free to do things like print the photos, send them to friends and family. I just ask that you direct any requests for photos from suppliers to me, and if the photos are going to be used in any publications, that I’m credited.
On my side, I can use the photos for my portfolio, but if I wanted to do something else with them, like enter them into a competition, I would always ask you first.
